Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates July 27th

JULY 27th RESOURCES AND UPDATES:
 

Several outdoor NYC venues are opened this week. The Bronx Zoo, the Central Park Zoo, the New York Botanical Garden, the Empire State Building observation deck and outdoor sections of Liberty Island are among the iconic spots opening this week, with capacity limits in place.

For alternate access to the Esplanade, please use:

New York City entered Phase 4 today but without indoor activity. Phase 4 allows for the reopening of media production, low-risk outdoor entertainment, professional sports competitions (without fans), and more.

Starting July 20th, New York will allow visits to nursing homes and long-term care facilities on a limited basis.

Welcome to Phase Three. Starting today, New Yorkers can once again visit shops for “personal care services” such as manicures, pedicures, massages, tattoos and piercings. (Indoor dining at restaurants, has been postponed).

New York State will expand its testing criteria to all New Yorkers statewide.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates June 29th

JUNE 29th RESOURCES AND UPDATES:

Alternate-side parking (which returned this week) will only occur once a week during the summer. DOT hasn’t yet issued details, but the Mayor is quoted in press reports saying where signs currently list two time-frames in a single week when alternate-side rules are in effect, car owners would only have to observe the later of the two times.
